Film Trailer: Dune​
In my Digital Studies class, I completed a creative project where I compiled clips from both the original and newer versions of Dune. Using Adobe video editing software, I skillfully combined these clips to craft a unique and engaging video trailer. This project allowed me to explore storytelling through visual media, experiment with transitions, audio syncing, and pacing, and showcase my ability to reinterpret iconic film moments into a fresh, cohesive narrative.
This project, titled 'Nexus,' was a collaborative effort created as part of my UX design interactive course (LIS 470), where I worked with three classmates to develop a prototype for a personalized healthcare app on Figma. Nexus is designed to empower users by offering tailored medical advice and health tracking to serve underprivileged communities. At the beginning of the project, we each took on different roles; I acted as the group facilitator, leading brainstorming sessions and guiding our research and data collection. We each created storyboards to capture insights from our qualitative research, and together we built a paper prototype. Another team member and I translated these ideas into wireframes on Figma, transforming our research into a user-centric design. This project reflects my commitment to merging healthcare and technology to address gaps in underserved communities.
Inspired by my friends’ vision for a wedding planning service, I embarked on building this website from the ground up. The focus is to design an elegant and user-friendly platform that would streamline event planning for clients. These events will range from full-service wedding planning, honeymoon planning, and any other personal or cultural events. I am, using WordPress to host the site. This project reflects my commitment to blending technology and community service, making memorable moments accessible to everyone.
